NEET UG Paper Leak 10 Big Things: In India, to get admission in undergraduate seats in the medical field, one has to give NEET i.e. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. After passing the NEET exam, the student can get admission in many medical courses like MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc, BSc Nursing and AH. This year the NEET UG paper was held on 5 May.

Because initially 67 students had scored full marks. After this, the news came that the NEET paper has been leaked. Currently, the case of NEET paper leak has been heard in the Supreme Court. 10 big things so far regarding NEET paper leak:
- The NEET paper was conducted on 5 May. After this, when the results came on 4 June, allegations of fraud were made in the paper. When the police got information about this, the investigation of the case started from Bihar. In the investigation, the police found that this paper was leaked with the connivance of some students and the exam administrators. After this, the police took action in the case and arrested four NEET paper candidates Abhishek Kumar, Shivnandan Kumar, Ayush Raj and Anurag Yadav.
- After this, the investigation was done and handed over to EOU. EOU submitted its report to the Union Education Ministry. After this, the Union Education Ministry handed over the NEET paper leak case to the CBI. This NEET paper was held on 5 May at 4750 centers in 571 cities of the country. For the first time, 67 students scored 720 marks in this paper of 720 marks. Out of these, 6 students were from the same center in Haryana.
- When the Supreme Court questioned the National Testing Agency (NTA) on this issue, the NTA said that grace marks were given to the students because they were not able to get the full time.
- Out of 67 students, 44 got full marks due to grace marks. When NTA revised the result again, the number of top students came down from 67 to 61. Out of the 1563 candidates who were given grace marks, 813 appeared for NEET exam again.
- The Supreme Court said regarding this matter that if the sanctity of the NEET UG 2024 paper has been violated and if the entire process has been affected, then the exam can be conducted again.
- The investigation of this leak started from Bihar. Pankaj, a resident of Jharkhand, was accused of stealing the NEET paper. Pankaj was helped in this crime by Raju Singh. Both were arrested by the CBI from Hazaribagh.
- So far, CBI has filed six reports on this matter. In the CBI report, around 155 students have been caught who benefited from this leak. The Supreme Court has said that no such evidence has come to light which proves that the entire exam has been affected. However, there has definitely been a systematic mistake in conducting the exam.

In the NEET paper leak case, the Supreme Court admitted that the paper has obviously been leaked. But the court did not consider the entire paper process as default and said that there is not enough evidence for this. The Supreme Court said that re-exams will be conducted. Then the hard work of lakhs of students can be spoiled.

The Supreme Court has asked the National Testing Agency (NDA) to release the revised NEET UG results. The court has also said that if a student has a personal matter which has not been decided in the NEET judgment, he can file a petition using his rights under the law.

The Supreme Court has also said that if someone is found guilty during the investigation, action will be taken against him and in such a case he will not be given admission.
