NEET UG 2024 Re-Exam Fees: The controversy that started after the release of the results of NEET UG Exam 2024 has not stopped yet. Various petitions filed against NEET UG are being heard in the Supreme Court. The update so far is that the exam has not been canceled and the exam is being conducted again for 1563 students. These are the candidates who were given grace marks. NTA had earlier also said in this matter that this issue is not of 24 lakh students but of 1563 students who were given additional marks as compensation for time.
The exam is being held again
NEET UG exam 2024 will be conducted again only for 1563 candidates who got grace marks. The exam is on 23rd June, whose admit cards have also been released. NTA has fixed the result release date for these candidates as 30th June. However, this is a tentative date which may change. It would be better for the candidates to keep visiting the official website exams.nta.ac.in/NEET from time to time for the latest updates.
what will be the fee
Candidates will not have to pay the fee again for NEET UG 2024 re-exam. There is no mention of the fee in the notice issued in this regard. Candidates will appear for the exam again on the basis of the old fee. However, in this entire matter, the candidates have not made any mistake, so they are not required to pay the fee.
Along with this, this is an accidental event and not a pre-determined process. Due to this, the question of paying the fee does not arise. If the candidates were taking advantage of any facility being provided by NTA, then they would have to pay the fixed fee for filling the form, but this will not happen here.
This will affect the future of students
The candidates who appeared in this year’s NEET exam have been caught in the web, willingly or unwillingly. Be it the candidates with grace marks, the toppers or those whose rank has been affected or the category of candidates who do not care what happens in the exam and just want to move their process forward. All of them have been affected to a great extent by this process and will be affected in the future too.
Until the matter is completely cleared and it is not decided whether the exam will be held again or the marks will remain the same, it is not possible to say anything with certainty. However, one thing is certain that during the time of Corona, the students of the board who passed without examination are looked at differently and going forward, people’s trust in the students of this batch is sure to waver. Similarly, questions can also be raised on NEET pass candidates in the year 2024. If NTA is proved clean in the court then it is a different matter, otherwise those who appeared in this exam are not only facing stress now but they can also come under the purview of questions in the future.
