NEET UG Counselling 2024: NEET UG counselling has been postponed. According to reports, this counselling for admission to undergraduate medical courses will be postponed till further notice. The National Examination Agency (NTA) had earlier told the Supreme Court that the process of NEET-UG counselling 2024 will start from July 6, 2024.
The National Testing Agency has postponed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate Counseling scheduled for Saturday. The Education Ministry may announce new dates very soon. However, this decision has come after the Supreme Court refused to delay the counseling. According to reports, the counseling process may start after July 08. The dates are expected to be announced on July 08. However, there is no confirmation of this yet.
According to media reports, the complete counselling schedule can be released by MCC very soon. It will tell which documents will be required during counselling. Along with this, other information related to it will also be in the schedule.

A large number of students are involved
Every year lakhs of candidates appear in the NEET UG exam. This year 24 lakh candidates appeared in the exam. There was a ruckus after the results were declared. Actually, there were not one or two toppers but 67 toppers in this exam. After which questions were raised on NTA. The agency had given two options to the students who had received grace marks. Either they should give up the grace marks or appear in the re-exam. In such a situation, many candidates did not appear in the re-exam. The result of the re-exam has also come in the past days. In such a situation, it is difficult to confirm the reason for the decision to postpone the counseling.
