Let us know for how many medical seats this process is being done.

Counseling will be done for these many seats

Important information has come to light before the counselling of NEET. According to this, there are a total of 731 medical colleges in the country, which have more than 1 lakh 12 thousand MBBS seats. If we look at the seats of government and private colleges separately, then out of these, there are 56 thousand MBBS seats and 52 thousand seats of private medical colleges. The process of counselling will now start for admission in these.

The process will be completed in five steps

Counseling will be of many stages and these steps will be followed in every stage. Let us know how this process will be completed.

registration – First of all, candidates have to apply online by visiting the website of MCC i.e. Medical Counseling Committee. Complete this step only after paying the fee here.

Choice Filling – After the registration is complete, candidates will have to do choice filling. That is, they will have to enter their preferred colleges and courses and prepare a priority list. These choices can go up or down.

Choice Locking – In the next step, candidates will have to lock their chosen choices. After this, they cannot change their choice of college or course, so decide wisely. Once the choice is locked, it cannot be unlocked again.

Verification- The candidates will be verified by the universities and colleges based on the choices filled by them.

Seat Allotment Result – Based on the available seats, merit, cut-off etc., the college or university will release the seat allotment result. Candidates can object to it if they want, after which the final list is released. Candidates either accept the given seat or demand an upgrade.

With this the counselling process is completed. The candidate has to report to the chosen institute before the due date. The fee has to be deposited. If the candidate does not report after accepting the seat, the candidature is cancelled.
