There has been a ruckus across the country since the results of the NEET UG exam were announced. Lakhs of candidates who appeared for the exam have come out on the streets. At present, the matter is in the Supreme Court. The next hearing in the case will be on July 8. But before that, the National Testing Agency has answered the questions raised about the exam. The National Testing Agency has posted a post on the social media platform X. In which there is an answer to almost every question related to the exam.

Actually, the results of NEET UG exam 2024 were released recently by NTA. This time more than 24 lakh students had participated in the exam. While about 13.61 candidates were successful in the exam. But this time there are not one or two but 67 toppers in the exam. Out of these, 08 are from the same center. After which the agency is under question. However, from the beginning of the matter till now, NTA has been denying any kind of rigging in the exam.

Question- How are compensatory marks calculated?

answer- NTA has said that the loss of time was detected during the exam time and such candidates were given marks as per the decision taken by the apex court. According to the set formula, the marks were compensated on the basis of the students’ answering efficiency and time loss. A total of 1563 candidates were given these marks.

Question- How Candidates Scored 718 and 719 Marks in NEET UG Exam?

answer- Due to compensatory marks, two candidates have got 718 and 719 marks.

Question- Leak in Bihar or paper leak in Godhra?

answer- Reports found that there was no paper leak in the exam, it was just a case of cheating. NTA has its own security protocols and all question papers have been accounted for. Necessary documents have been provided to Patna police and NTA is cooperating in the investigation.

Question- What measures has NTA taken to prevent malpractices during examination?

answer- CCTV cameras, biometric verification, intensive checking and jammers were used to prevent cheating in the examination halls.

Question- Did the candidates who scored 720 marks get benefit due to two correct answers and grace marks?

answer- 67 students have scored full marks in the NEET exam. Out of these, the answers of 44 students have been corrected after the answer key was challenged. There were two correct answers for a question in the exam, so students who chose any one answer were later given marks. Such students have not been given grace marks. Grace marks have been given only to those students whose time has been wasted.
