At many places in Godda, this sweet is also made from gram flour prepared from the wrist, which is even more delicious to eat. Amardeep Kumar, who makes Ghevar sweets, said that Ghevar sweets have been made in his shop for 32 years during cold days.
It starts being made from the last week of December and continues till February. At the same time, this sweet is not prepared and kept, rather it is immediately prepared and given to the customers who come to buy it, because customers like hot sweets more and it is also delicious.
How is this sweet made?
To make this sweet, first of all gram flour is mixed with water and mixed for about half an hour. After this, cardamom seeds are crushed and mixed in it. Gram flour is put in the oil with the fingers of the hand in its specially made form. After being fried in oil, it is put in syrup and after this the Ghevar sweet is ready.
