Noland is paralyzed from the shoulders down
Giving information about his injury, Noland said in the video, “About 8 years ago I was in a freak diving accident and my C4 and C5 were dislocated, so I am completely quadriplegic. Paralyzed from the shoulders down and I had no feeling or movement below my shoulders.”
The first human brain chip was installed in January 2024
Earlier this year, without giving much details, Elon Musk had revealed that Neuralink had implanted its first human brain chip after receiving approval from the US FDA. In May 2023 itself, Elon Musk’s company Neuralink was approved for clinical trials by the US Food and Drug Administration i.e. FDA, after which on January 30, 2024, Elon Musk’s company Neuralink installed a chip in a human brain for the first time. Elon Musk himself had given this information through a post on X, after which a debate broke out across the world. Elon Musk’s company Neuralink is working on installing computer chips in the human brain so that the human brain can be operated by the machine.
