The villagers and surrounding people are very curious. The villagers have made preparations to reach the airport since morning to see this sight.
There are many such villagers in the surrounding areas, whose life is completed in the fields only. When Amar Ujala talked to the villagers of the villages around the airport, their faces were glowing.
- Atar Singh, head of Bhuda Kishangarh, said that his entire life was spent in farming. Helicopters were seen on the airstrip last year or two, now regular planes will fly.
- Farmer Vijay Singh said that he had not imagined that an airplane would fly so close to the village. Time will also be saved for going to Lucknow, Kanpur. There is only light around the airport. Therefore there is no problem at night.
- Farmer Lala Ram told that the air fare is not high, so he will go to Lucknow. Never thought that everything would be so close. With the construction of the airport, the area is also developing rapidly.
- Bauner farmer Veerpal Singh said that the entire view of the area has changed due to the airport. Villages like Bauner, Bhuda Kishangarhi, Panaiti, Khangarhi etc. are also developing. Once upon a time, people in these villages yearned for electricity, water and roads.
- Bauner farmer Jitendra Kumar Sharma said that he is waiting for March 11. There is curiosity in the entire village. Happiness is also being seen among the elderly, women and children. There has been talk of flying planes in the village for a week now.
Businessmen will benefit
With the start of operation of Aligarh Airport, people and businessmen going to other cities will get direct benefit from it and they will be able to travel to big cities in a short time. After the expansion, even the biggest aircraft like Airbus-320 and Boeing-737 will be able to land at the airport. Till now businessmen have to run to Delhi, Agra, Lucknow for air travel. From here they will also be able to easily reach Jewar Airport.
