It has been said in the press release that some media reports are claiming that New Delhi Railway Station will be closed for four years, which is completely wrong. New Delhi station will never be closed. If there is a problem during redevelopment, then some trains will be diverted.

What is Amrit Bharat Station Scheme?

In the year 2023, Prime Minister Modi launched the Amrit Bharat Station Yojana for the redevelopment of a total of 508 railway stations across India by joining 27 states and union territories of India. Actually, all these railway stations are to be made highly equipped under the Amrit Bharat Station Mission by the Indian Railways. At present, not much information has been revealed by the Indian Railways regarding its implementation.
