India vs New Zealand ODI Series: New Zealand has made changes in its team for the ODI series against India and Pakistan. The deadly bowler of the team, Adam Milne, has withdrawn from the tour due to not being fully fit. Milne had a hamstring problem during the home series against India. Blair Tickner has been included in his place in the New Zealand team. He is currently a part of the Kiwi Test team on Pakistan tour. Blair Tickner, who made his ODI debut in the year 2022, has taken 9 wickets in ODIs.
India and Pakistan out of ODI series
Adam Milne has not been able to train properly due to a hamstring injury. He is not sure about his fitness. That’s why he has withdrawn his name from the ODI series played against India and Pakistan. Milne is in no mood to take risks. Because New Zealand has to play 6 ODIs against India and Pakistan in 16 days. According to selector Gavin Larsen, this decision has been taken by mutual consent.
According to him, taking this decision has not been easy. He further said, he was our main bowler for the upcoming tour. After talking to him, we agreed that his preparation before the tour would not be enough for the ODI series. After the Test series, the New Zealand team will play a three ODI series against Pakistan in Karachi. After this, the Kiwi team will move to India for the ODI series.
