The Gwalior Police has made a big disclosure regarding the Nursing Staff Recruitment Examination case of the National Health Mission. Police said that the gang’s network operating from Uttar Pradesh is linked to Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur and Sagar in Madhya Pradesh. Police have so far arrested eight accused in this case. But the mastermind of the gang is still absconding who is said to be a resident of Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh.

‘Called in Tekanpur hotel for paper deal’

The family of a student informed the Gwalior police that some people had contacted them. They are calling near the hotel located at Tekanpur in Dabra to make a deal. There could be a big deal here. After this the Crime Branch raided there and caught 33 people from the spot. Out of these, there are eight accused, who were selling the paper by leaking it.

Two of the accused are residents of Meerut and Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh. The remaining two accused are from Haryana and three from Gwalior. Apart from this, 26 students have also been caught from the spot, out of which 15 are girls and 11 are boys. In the strict interrogation of the Crime Branch, the accused have also confessed to selling paper to the students. All the students were called by the accused to Tekanpur.

Gwalior SP Amit Sanghi told in the press conference that the gang had struck a deal with 80 examinees. A deal was fixed for Rs 2 to 3 lakh with each candidate. The accused had submitted the original documents from the examinee as a guarantee.

At the same time, after the paper leak of NHM i.e. National Health Mission Madhya Pradesh’s contract staff nurse recruitment exam held on February 7, the exam has been canceled.

The accused had bought paper online from SAMS company

SP Sanghi said that during interrogation, the accused also told that they had bought the paper online from the website of a company named Strategic Alliance Management Services Pvt Ltd (SAMS). This company does recruitment consulting work in government departments. The accused had also paid Rs 15 lakh in lieu of this. However, it is not clear from where the company got the paper. At present, no one related to the company has been arrested. The accused do not have a direct connection with the agency taking the exam. The accused were doing all the work through this company only.

Amit Sanghi said that the police is also probing the role of NHM officers in this matter. However, the police is taking the accused on remand after producing them in the court so that their network can be exposed.
