Charge Sheet Against Hakeem Khan: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) took major action on Saturday in the case of terrorist attack on a bus carrying pilgrims from Shivkhodi in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir. NIA has filed a charge sheet in the special court of Jammu against the main accused of this attack, Hakam Khan alias Hakim Deen.

This terrorist attack took place on June 9, 2024, when a bus full of pilgrims reached Kanda area near Jhandi Mor, suddenly the terrorists started firing indiscriminately on the bus. Eight pilgrims including the bus driver were killed in this attack, while 41 others were seriously injured.
The responsibility of investigation was handed over to NIA
The bus driver died on the spot after being shot during the attack, due to which the bus went out of control and fell into a deep gorge. The purpose of this attack was to create fear among the pilgrims and the general public. Considering the seriousness of the attack, the Home Ministry of the Government of India had handed over the investigation of the case to the NIA. The team involved in the investigation arrested the main accused Hakam Khan on the basis of solid evidence. During interrogation, Hakam Khan confessed to his involvement in the conspiracy of the attack.
Investigation into the attack is still ongoing
NIA investigation revealed that this terrorist attack was carried out by three terrorists. Of which Hakam Khan had given him every possible help. He had arranged for accommodation and food for the terrorists and was also involved in planning the attack. NIA investigation is still going on and other suspects are being searched.
