The National Security Agency (NIA) on Wednesday carried out raids in several districts of UP under Operation Demolition. The team raided the locations of history-sheeter and BJP leader Vikas Singh in Lucknow and Ayodhya. Vikas Singh’s Lucknow flat was found locked. After raiding Vikas Singh’s residence in Ayodhya, he was interrogated for several hours. On the other hand, a Khalistani supporter has been detained from Amethi. The NIA carried out the entire operation in collaboration with the Punjab and Haryana Police. Action has been taken regarding gangster Lawrence Vishnoi, Khalistani, arms and drugs connection. Teams also raided several locations in Meerut and Baghpat in western Uttar Pradesh.

The NIA team reached the Park View Apartment in Gomtinagar Extension at around 4.30 am on Wednesday. Vikas Singh has a flat here. The team reached directly outside flat number A-77/4. The flat was found locked. The team gathered information from the office bearers of the society. For about three hours, the team interrogated the people of the society and gathered facts about Vikas Singh. It was learned that till a month ago the hotel owner Anuj Singh used to live in this flat on rent. The team also questioned him. The team left from here around eight o’clock. At around 11:45 the team reached Vikas Singh’s house located in Deogarh village of Maharajganj police station in Ayodhya. The officers of the team kept questioning him in a closed room till about two o’clock. After this the team left from there. During this, the police station remained stationed outside the residence of the BJP leader. Please tell that the mother of BJP leader Vikas Singh had passed away on May 16. He was present at his ancestral home on Wednesday. The arrival of the NIA team has been confirmed by Maharajganj police station in-charge Anupam Mishra, although he could not give any information regarding the points related to the inquiry.

Raised one in Khalistan supporter and funding case

Shiv Mohan, Jagmohan and Pradeep, son of Rajaram, resident of Terayen Chowkia village of Lambhua police station area, live in Shimlapuri, Ludhiana, Punjab. Shiv Mohan is associated with Dhan Nirankar Sanstha of Haryana. It is alleged that funding has been done from abroad in Dhan Nirankar Sanstha. The NIA alert has come to a turning point after crores of rupees came into the accounts of people associated with the organization. When the NIA started investigating the people associated with the organization, information was received about Shiv Mohan. He was missing from Ludhiana. When raided Sultanpur, he was not found. After that the team raided Dulhinpur village under Ramganj police station in Amethi. Here the team with the help of the local police took Shiv Mohan into custody from Tereyanya Chowkia village of Lambhua. SP of Amethi Dr. Elamaran G. confirmed the arrival of the NIA team in the district.

Several cases have been registered against Vikas including murder

Vikas is a history sheeter of Maharajganj police station. He is accused of being involved in other major incidents including the murder of Ram Gopal Mishra Anna, former General Secretary of Saket College’s student union. He was earlier a companion of SP MLA and Bahubali Abhay Singh. After a dispute with him, he held the hand of Indra Pratap Tiwari Khabbu, former BJP MLA and currently in jail. Due to Khabbu being in jail, Vikas handled the election of his wife who contested from BJP.

Gathered many important documents and information

According to sources, many important documents and electronic devices have been seized from the locations where the NIA raided in UP. NIA will take further action on the basis of the information gathered by questioning people. According to information, strong evidence of connection with gangster Lawrence Vishnoi has been found.
