NIRF Ranking 2024: The Ministry of Education has announced the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024 today. This was announced by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at Bharat Mandapam. This time also Indian Institute of Technology, Madras has topped. This time NIRF has released its ninth ranking, which ranks higher education institutions in 13 different categories. It includes university, college, engineering, management, pharmacy, law, medicine and architecture categories. Jawaharlal Nehru University is ranked 10th in the overall NIRF ranking. IIT Madras has remained on top for the sixth consecutive year.
According to NIRF 2024, IISc Bangalore is ranked first in the list of top 5 universities. JNU is at second place, Jamia Millia Islamia at third, Manipal University at fourth and BHU at fifth place. AIIMS Delhi is the best for medical studies, IIT Roorkee is at the top in architecture. Talking about pharmacy, Jamia Hamdard University is at the top.
