Nitish Rana And Dhruv Shorey Have Sought NOC From The DDCA To Play For Other States In The Upcoming Domestic Season

Nitish Rana wants NOC from the DDCA: There is still some time for the Ranji Trophy season 2023-24 to start, but all the state cricket association teams have started preparations for this. Meanwhile, the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) has suffered a major setback. Former Delhi team captain Nitish Rana has sought a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from DDCA, deciding to play for another team in the upcoming new season. Apart from Rana, Dhruv Shorey, who scored the most runs for the team in the last Ranji season, has also demanded NOC.

DDCA Joint Secretary Rajan Manchanda has confirmed the news of Nitish Rana and Dhruv Shorey seeking NOC. He said on this that this news is completely correct. Both the players want to leave the Delhi cricket team and have demanded NOC. We will talk to them on this issue so that the problem can be solved by understanding it. Although the final decision will be of both of them and if they still want, we will give them NOC.

The decision to remove Nitish Rana from the captaincy of the red ball format team last season is believed to be the reason behind leaving the Delhi team. Apart from this, the reason for Rana’s displeasure with some players present in the dressing room is also being told.

So far Nitish Rana’s first class career has been like this

If we look at the first-class career of Nitish Rana, who has played domestic cricket for Delhi so far, he has scored 2507 runs in 44 matches at an average of 39.79. According to reports, before the end of the last domestic season, Rana and Shorey are exploring options to play for other teams.
