HMD Barbie-branded; HMD, the company that made Nokia smartphones for many years, has now started launching its own brand of phones. HMD Global introduced several new phones under its brand Human Mobile Devices (HMD). The company has launched these phones in the Mobile World Congress i.e. MWC 2024. However, let us tell you that the Mobile World Congress 2024 event is being organized in Barcelona, Spain. This event for the general public is starting from 26th February, but before that HMD Global has launched some phones. The company has announced a new Barbie-branded flip phone and a new ‘repairable’ smartphone.
How about a Barbie flip phone?
The Barbie Flip Phone is different from normal Android phones, resembling a retro feature phone. However, the details of the design and operating system of this phone have not been revealed yet. The teaser of this phone has been shown, looking at which the phone may be of pink colour.
The Barbie movie came out in July last year, but it looks like HMD Global is still moving into the world of Barbie. The Barbie movie had earned billions of dollars and it seems that HMD Global is trying to make the Barbie plan successful after a year. Regarding this phone, MMD Global has claimed that this phone will be very stylish, it will remind the users of old times and will also help in getting rid of smartphone addiction.
HMD Fusion was also introduced
Along with Barbie Flip Phone, HMD has also given information about HMD Fusion. The company has informed that this phone will be launched in July 2024 and it will have features to customize the hardware. Users will be able to switch out the shell of the phone as per their needs, be it the standard cover, the card slot or the cover with camera controls. HMD Global has also introduced a toolkit to help users understand the design files and software integration.
