Vishal Kumar/Chhapra: Actually Chhapra is quite famous for Bhunja. But this foreign dish here is also becoming the choice of many people. This is momos. There are many stalls in Chhapra, but the momo made at this stall located at Sahebganj Chowk is special. Momos made by Maa Momo Bhandar are quite famous in terms of taste. Because of which people not only from the city but from all over the district come to taste it. Dhanu Kumar tells that both veg and non-veg momos are available here. You can come here and taste it from 4 to 10 in the evening. Dhanu has been running his shop at Sahebganj Chowk for 14 years.
Momos will be available in three varieties
Shopkeeper Dhanu Kumar tells that he uses home-made spices to prepare momos, so that it has a desi taste. The masala for momos is made by adding cabbage, carrots, onions, beets and beans to it. Then momos are prepared. Dhanu Kumar further says that along with veg and non-veg, fried momos are also made at my place. Here fried momos with mutton, chicken, veg will be available. Chutney is also given along with it.
Plate ranges from 40 to 100 rupees
Shopkeeper Dhanu Kumar tells that the taste of momos prepared with home made spices is absolutely tasty. Sada and fried momos are also sold by Dhanu. If you are fond of eating steamed momos, you will get that too. Mutton Momo, Chicken Momo, Bhej Momo are also made on order. Plain momo half plate is available for ₹ 40, while full plate is available for ₹ 80. You sell the same fried momo for ₹ 50 a plate, while the flower plate sells it for ₹ 100. Up to Rs 2 thousand are sold every day.
