Whoever wanted to eat saag rota used to go to Chirawa and eat it. But now the same chirawa artisan is called Gudhagaudji. Provides excellent quality jaggery.

This is how sagrota is made
Giving information about making Sagrota, Sandeep said that to make Sagrota, a mixed vegetable of tomato, onion, kinnow, cabbage and peas is made. To make the vegetable tasty, the gravy is cooked well. Roti is made by mixing milk, desi ghee and spices in gram flour flour and roasting it on smoldering coal. Due to which a unique taste comes and it becomes soft.

Sandeep told that greens are available in Rota Gudha every Wednesday of the week. The rate of which is Rs 240 for a plate which contains eight rotis and half a kilo of vegetables. He told that every Wednesday he sells at least 80 to 100 plates. And sometimes it reaches up to 150.

Garlic seasoning brings taste
Giving information about making Sagrota, Sandeep told that it is a green dish made by tempering onion and garlic along with cauliflower and peas. Apart from this, roti prepared from gram flour and flour in ghee is called rota. Mixing both is called Saag Rota.

To make Sagrota, pure ghee, cauliflower and peas are required. Ghee is boiled and spices are added to it. In which cumin, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, fennel, musk fenugreek etc. are added. The method of making Sagrota is very old. But in the last few years, it has taken a commercial form and now making Sagrota has become a trend in almost the area of ​​Jhunjhunu.
