Now vegetables can be bought and sold only during the stipulated time. Along with this, action will be taken against those running shops by occupying the footpath meant for pedestrians. For this, a special campaign will start from April 1. Divisional Commissioner Kumar Ravi said that illegal commercial activities will not be allowed on the roads under any circumstances.

A new beginning is going to be made from April 1 to free Patna city from the traffic jams caused by encroachment. From April 1, now vegetables will be allowed to be sold at designated places on roadsides only from 5 to 9 in the morning and from 7 to 10 in the evening. Apart from this time period, action will also be taken against selling vegetables on the roadside. Actually, this decision has been taken to make the road encroachment free. From April 1, a special campaign will be run in the areas near the bus stand near Masodhi Mor, Rajvanshi Nagar, Raja Bazar, IGIMS, Ashiana-Digha turn and old bypass, via Zeromile to Jaganpura, on Bailey Road.

Action will be taken if there is no parking arrangement
Divisional Commissioner Kumar Ravi has directed to identify big business establishments and take action. Action will be taken against those who do not have parking arrangements. He said that due to lack of parking facilities, their vehicles park on the roads, causing traffic jams. Instructed not to allow encroachment around big hospitals IGIMS, PMCH and AIIMS, so that there is no problem in the movement of patients. From April 1, a special campaign will be run to remove encroachment in the capital Patna.
