NSUI protest in NTA Office: Members of the Congress student wing NSUI on Thursday (27 June 2024) barged into the office of the National Examination Agency (NTA) and raised slogans. The NTA is currently embroiled in controversies over alleged irregularities in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Graduate (NEET-UG) exam. Workers of the National Student Union of India (NSUI) also demonstrated at Jantar Mantar on Thursday, where they clashed with the police.

NTA office locked

NSUI members entered the NDA office in Okhla and raised slogans to shut down NTA. In a video shared by news agency ANI, NSUI president Varun Chaudhary said, “The work that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had to do was to lock down NTA. The NTA which has rigged the exams, the NTA which has put the future of lakhs of students in danger, our NSUI colleagues have locked that NTA. If NTA is not banned, then NTA offices will be locked across the country.”

Modi government is saving NTA- Congress

During this, NSUI President Varun Chaudhary also alleged rigging in CUET. Regarding this, Congress posted on X and wrote, “On one hand papers are being leaked in the country, on the other hand the Modi government is trying to save NTA. This failure of the Modi government and NTA is destroying the future of lakhs of youth, ruining their lives. We will continue to fight to get justice for the youth. The dictatorial government will have to bow before the truth.

There was a clash between NSUI workers and police during a demonstration at Jantar Mantar. Seeing the demonstration of NSUI workers here regarding the NEET issue, the police resorted to lathicharge.
