Constitution of the Panel
This clarification comes amid the ongoing controversy over alleged irregularities in competitive examinations. The Ministry of Education constituted a panel to review the functioning of the NTA, recommend examination reforms and ensure data security.
How NTA came under the scanner
Actually, questions are being raised on the National Testing Agency since the release of the score card of NEET UG Exam 2024. A total of 67 candidates topped the exam this time. Which later led to a ruckus. Later the matter reached the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, the agency had given grace marks to the candidates who got less time. For them, a decision was taken to conduct a re-examination. After which the number of NEET UG toppers decreased. Today the exam was conducted again for 1563 candidates. In which only 813 candidates appeared. However, the controversy regarding the matter continues.
