Nusrat Jahan’s statement has come at a time when a song from Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘Pathan’ has created a ruckus. Some BJP leaders have objected to actress Deepika Padukone wearing a saffron colored bikini in Pathane’s song ‘Besharam Rang’. Along with this, #pathanboycott is also going on on social media. Meanwhile, many celebrities have extended their support to the film, in which Nusrat Jahan has also joined.

Nusrat Jahan said, “It is not about anybody’s ideology. It is about a party in power trying to create such a picture in a group of people. So whatever they are doing, they are Nothing spiritual, religious, just a well-planned conspiracy. That’s why they are talking about culture, bikini-wearing women.”
