Ingredients to make Oats Khichdi
Oats โ€“ one and a half cup
Soaked green coral โ€“ 1 cup
Mix daal โ€“ 1 cup
Onion โ€“ 1
Cauliflower โ€“ 1 cup
Tomato โ€“ 1-2
Green onions โ€“ 1/2 cup
Green chili โ€“ 2
Rai โ€“ 1 tsp
Cumin โ€“ 1 tsp
Asafoetida โ€“ 1 pinch
Turmeric โ€“ 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder โ€“ 1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves โ€“ 2 tbsp
Desi ghee โ€“ 2 tsp
Oil โ€“ 2 tbsp
salt โ€“ as per taste

Oats Khichdi Recipe
To make Oats Khichdi, first soak green moong in water overnight and drain the water. After this, finely chop onion, cauliflower, spring onions, green chillies and green coriander. Now put the cooker on medium flame and put 2 tbsp oil in it and heat it. When the oil becomes hot, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and fry for a few seconds. When the spices start crackling, add finely chopped onions and green chillies and cook.

When the onions become soft, add finely chopped tomatoes and fry for 1 minute, then add chopped cauliflower. If you want, you can also add peas and carrots to the khichdi. After this add turmeric, red chillies to the vegetables and fry them well. After this add green moong and mix dal (arhar, gram). Lastly, add oats to all the ingredients and mix well.
Now put about three times the water in the cooker in the ratio of all the ingredients and cook it by closing the lid and increase the flame of the cooker. When one whistle comes in the cooker, take two whistles on medium flame and turn off the gas. Now let the gas of the cooker release on its own.

Now put 2 teaspoons of ghee in a pan and heat it. When the ghee becomes hot and melts, add a pinch of asafoetida and add a splash of ghee to the khichdi. Oats Khichdi full of taste and nutrition is ready. It can be eaten with pickle or chutney in dinner.
