Due to increasing obesity, blood circulation in the body gets affected. If blood flow to the brain is disrupted due to obesity, it also increases the risk of stroke. Apart from this, there may be problems related to the nervous system in the body. Neurological problems may increase in the body. If fat accumulates around the neck due to increasing obesity, the airway may become smaller. In such a situation, the patient may have trouble breathing while sleeping at night. This can cause the problem of sleep apnea. 

Problems related to digestion

Obesity also increases the risk of gastroesophageal reflux (GERD). This problem occurs when the acid level in the stomach becomes unbalanced. Apart from this, obesity also causes bone related problems like osteoporosis, back pain, joint pain. Obesity also has a negative impact on depression and mental health.

Due to obesity, the problem of PCOD (Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease) is big in women, and it is a main cause of infertility in 70 to 80% women.
