Burhanpur. Often you must have seen that some tea shops are so famous that people like to drink tea there even in summer. There is one such shop in Iqbal Chowk area of Burhanpur district of Madhya Pradesh, whose name is Taj Raja Tea Center. Where people come from far and wide to drink tea. Not only humans, a goat is crazy about their tea. The shop owner gives tea to this goat for free. The goat has become so famous that people make videos of it drinking tea. The goat drinks tea with such gusto that even people are surprised.
In an exclusive conversation with Local 18 team, goat owner Abdul Hameed, who lives in Azad Nagar area, said that I have been rearing this goat since childhood. It is 4 years old. People have named it ‘Chai Wala Bakra’. Whenever I take it for a stroll in the market and drink tea at this shop, it also starts drinking tea after seeing me. I have been taking it to this shop daily for tea for the past one year. The goat drinks tea in a sugar bowl with great relish. If we give it tea at home, it does not drink tea at home. It likes the tea from this shop only.
The shop owner does not take money for goat’s tea
Tea shop owner Mohammad Yusuf says that we often give tea to this goat for free. We never take money. When the goat comes to our place to drink tea, everyone starts looking at it. This goat is of a local breed. We sell tea to others for ₹6 and give it to him for free.
