But, in old Bhopal, where there are a large number of non-vegetarian lovers, Shikha Restaurant has created a distinct identity for its vegetarian food. Despite being in a crowded area, a large number of people come to eat in the restaurant. This restaurant, built in the year 1995, is being run by the third generation.
Restaurant owner Vineet Sahu told Local 18 that the restaurant has been running since his grandfather’s time. He himself joined this business with his father Santosh Kumar Sahu about 20 years ago. Apart from the people of old Bhopal, we have been receiving love from the people of new Bhopal as well.
Lots of variety of veg food
Apart from paneer, kofta and mushroom, many other vegetarian dishes like green kabab and kheer are available in Shikha restaurant. Talking about food, Vineet says that the food of his restaurant is liked by people of all classes. People eat pure vegetarian food here.
The second branch of the city opened in Kolar area
Giving information about the second branch of his restaurant, Vineet told that about four months ago a new branch of the restaurant has been opened in Kolar area of New Bhopal, which is getting a lot of love from the people.
Where is the restaurant located
Shikha Restaurant is located in Jumerati Gate, Azad Market, Old Bhopal. The restaurant is just 1.5 km away from Bhopal Station. While its distance from Nadra Bus Stand is also almost the same.
