It is said to be the world’s oldest jeans and a bid was made for it by the auction house. The jeans have finally been bought for Rs 94 lakh. No evidence has come to the fore as to who made the pants. It is also being said that the jeans may be from Levi Strauss & Company, but officially this company made the first jeans in the year 1873 and the pants kept in the auction are from 1857.
