Artisan Shyam, who prepares Rasgulla, says that milk is brought here from the surrounding areas of Diyara area. Those people extract chena from him. The rasgullas here are light. The reason for this is that Chhaina is whipped a lot. Due to which Chhena becomes light and soft.

3000 people got employment

There are more than 100 Rasgulla shops here. About 3 to 4 quintals of sweets are sold every day. Artisans and laborers are also employed to make it. About 20 to 25 people work in each shop here.

Meghan Singh, who has been operating Maa Sheetla Bhandar in Barhiya for the last 30 years, told that there is ample availability of milk here. Farmers themselves deliver milk here instead of dairy. Better milk is available from this at a lower price. Because of which good quality Rasgulla is provided to the customers at a low price by them and by the shopkeepers of entire Badhiya.
