Today it has become difficult for people to live without electricity. But there is such a village in Rewa, where there is connection, the meter is on and the bill also comes, but the light is round.
In Tikuri Mankahari village of Rewa, the grills in the transformer have been uprooted for years. Because of this, the supply of electricity is not reaching the villages. The condition of the people is miserable during the summer. People are not running fans and coolers in the scorching heat. The matter is of Tikuri village, 8 km away from the city.
Many houses in the village are connected to the transformer installed near Pavandham temple. Electricity reaches the village through this transformer. But due to broken grill, electricity is not reaching the villages. The situation is such that it is dark in the night in the village. In such a situation, the possibility of theft also remains in the village.
No action even after complaint
Rajbhan Tiwari, a resident of Tikuri (Mankahri), says that the electricity bill comes every month, and I also deposit it on time. But there is no electricity in the village, yet the bills continue to come. Information about the fault of the transformer has been given to JE. But till now no work has been done on this. The officials associated with the electricity department are also not showing any interest.
People of 10-15 houses of the village are worried
Villager Sukhilal Saket told that he has given this information to lineman Shivkumar Verma thousands of times. Now his shoes have worn out while going around his office. The condition is bad in summer, giving information in this regard, I have told many times to get the improvement work done. But the lineman ignores this task. Even the linemen here do not listen. The people of the village are troubled by the heat. Electricity is round but bill meter is on. 10 to 15 houses of the village are troubled by this.
