Prosperity with temples, forts, stepwells, there is also a place in Damoh, where 1.25 lakh Manas recitations took place. For this reason this place is famous as Saket Dham. This Dham is situated about 5 kilometers away from the city.

It is said that in 1972, Shri Shri Anandkand Dayalu Bhagwan reached Damoh via Rahatgarh, where he took a vow while retiring that he would not come out of the cottage until 1.25 lakh Manas lessons were completed here. He also took a pledge that he will neither take food with his own hands nor will he take fruits and water with his own hands. Distraught devotees used to feed him with their own hands.

Performed 143 Yagya in whole life
The entire area of ​​Saket Dham is spread over about three acres. It is said that in this area, 1.25 lakh coconuts, 1.25 lakh betel nuts, 1.25 lakh cloves and 1.25 lakh flowers of Tesu were used for the yagya. On September 3, 2014, Sri Sri Anand Kand Dayalu Bhagwan took Samadhi. He performed 143 Yagya in his lifetime. Atirudra Mahayagya was performed in the year 1982. In which 16 Brahmins earned virtue by staying at this place for 16 months while making Lord Shiva out of black soil.

45 pilgrims came from Pakistan
45 people from Pakistan who belonged to the Vaishnav community had reached Damoh to visit Saket Dham. Here he told that all the people had left from Karachi to visit the pilgrimage sites of India. While visiting Vrindavan, Haridwar, Gaya and many other religious places, he came to know that there is a place in Madhya Pradesh’s Damoh where 1.25 lakh Manas lessons have taken place. To have darshan of such Siddha Kshetra, the saint here contacted Shri Bhagwan and reached Damoh. After staying for two days, he got to know the purity and natural environment here.

Pathak ji, who takes care of Saket Dham, told that this proven place is known in the whole district by the name of 1.25 lakh Manas Path. Impressed by the Yagya performed here, 45 people from Pakistan who belonged to the Vaishnav community also came here last 3 months. Sharda Pathak, an old woman who has been taking care of the temple premises for 40 years, told that this is the same proven place, where people from one thousand nearby villages together recited 1.25 lakh manas.
