Panipat: The residents of the city, fed up with the destitute cattle for a long time, performed a unique demonstration today in the Panipat Municipal Corporation. In order to wake up the Panipat Municipal Corporation Administration and Mayor Avneet Kaur, the social workers conducted a symbolic marriage of the Panipat Municipal Corporation with Hindu customs with the calf. Pandit was also invited in the marriage. The calf was garlanded after tika and married by chanting mantras.
Social worker Joginder Swami told that the destitute cattle who are roaming on the streets today should be in the cow shed, but due to the negligence of the Municipal Corporation, the cattle are forced to roam on the streets. In such a situation, due to these animals, the urban people are becoming victims of accidents. It was told that a young man had died in the past due to collision with a bull. At the same time, recently a young man was seriously injured after being hit by a bull, who has been admitted to the hospital for a long time.

Joginder Swami said that today this demonstration has been done to wake up the municipal administration and BJP leaders from sleep. Accusing the Municipal Corporation, he said that the Municipal Corporation is busy earning money in the name of destitute animals. Giving an ultimatum of 1 month to the Municipal Corporation, said that either these destitute animals should be resolved, otherwise two bulls would be tied to the councilor’s house in every ward. The work of tying two bulls will also be done at the house of MP and MLA.

On the other hand, Deputy Senior Mayor of Municipal Corporation Dushyant Bhatt said that this is such a subject, which is related to the feelings of the people. He admitted that the number of destitute animals in the city is increasing continuously and he is not able to make arrangements in 2 years. Giving assurance, he said that today he will try to find a solution after meeting the municipal commissioner specially on this subject.
