However, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar has not yet released any list of those special games. Many such cases have come to the fore in the country and abroad, in which addiction to games in children or in any person has caused huge harm to them.

PUBG Mobile app was banned

Earlier, the PUBG Mobile app was banned by the Government of India due to security reasons. TikTok was also banned by the Government of India due to data security issues. Talking about the size of the online gaming market in India, according to a report, in the year 2022, its size was Rs 135 billion. It is estimated that by the year 2025, this market size will cross Rs 231 billion. In the year 2012, the Indian online gaming market was worth Rs 15.3 billion.
