Online Scam IPL 2024 MS Dhoni Message Alert Social Media Scammers Active Asking For Money


Online Scam: At present, due to the IPL season, there is a huge craze for cricket among the people, but now scammers are taking advantage of it and trying to cheat people through social media. Recently a case has come to light, in which a scammer first introduced himself as cricketer MS Dhoni and later extorted money from the person. Not only this, the scammer has also sent the slogan of Chennai Super Kings along with the photo of MS Dhoni.

A user received a message on the social media platform Instagram, in which it was written that Hi, I am MS Dhoni… I am sending you a message from my private account. At present I am on the outskirts of Ranchi and have forgotten my wallet. Please transfer me Rs 600 through PhonePe so that I can return home, I will return this money as soon as I reach home.

Not only this, the scammer sent the message with the handle “mahi77i2”. Talking about Dhoni’s official handle, it is “mahi7781”. The scammer also sent a selfie and used the Chennai Super Kings slogan “Whistle Podu”. This post containing the message sent by the scammer is going viral and has been viewed millions of times on social media.

If you also get any such message then you need to be careful. Don’t send money to anyone you don’t know and verify account information before responding. Apart from this, fraud is also happening regarding IPL tickets. Many such cases have come to light in which people are being cheated while buying IPL tickets.
