Open AI has made the Chat GPT Store live. However, not everyone can access it. To use the Chat GPT Store, you will need to subscribe to Chat GPT Plus or Chat GPT Team, which is a new plan. Chat GPT Store is like Google Playstore and Apple’s Appstore where you will get different apps for different purposes. Currently available to use for free in the Chat GPT store are a trail recommender from Alltrails, a code tutor from Khan Academy, and a content designer from Canva. More GPTs will be added to it in the coming time.
The apps on GPTs store are based on Open AI’s text-based GPT-4 and image generating model DALL-E 3. You can access popular GPTs on the community leader board, listed by categories like lifestyle, writing, research, etc. Open AI is also going to bring a plan to monetize GPTs soon. After this the company will share the revenue with popular creators.
Creating your own GPT is very easy
You do not need coding etc. to create your own GPT. Even a common person can make it. For this, you have to use Open AI’s GPT builder tool and tell it in simple language what kind of app you want, like for designing, to help in cooking, etc. GPT Builder will instantly create an AI powered chatbot for you.
To submit their GPTs to OpenAI’s store, developers must verify their user profiles and submit their GPTs to OpenAI’s new review system that includes a mix of human and automated reviews to check that Whether GPT follows all the rules of the company or not. Note, all the data inside GPTs is going to be completely safe and the creators will not be able to access it. This means that the developers will not know whether any user is searching etc. inside the GPTs, and the users’ data will also remain completely safe.
