Both the Chief Ministers held a press conference
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that today he had a long discussion with Hemant Soren on the central government’s ordinance on the control of Delhi’s services. He has assured us of full support inside and outside Parliament. I request all parties to oppose this ordinance when it comes in Parliament. Kejriwal said that by bringing an ordinance against the decision of the Supreme Court in Delhi, the central government has cheated the public. That’s why I have come here and sought the support of the Soren government. He has assured me that he and his party will support us.

On the ordinance, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that this is a big attack on the strength of the country. The central government talks about federal structure, but the work is just opposite to that. Today it will be clearly seen that all the governments which are not the ally governments (state government) of the central government have a similar situation which is a matter of concern.
Stalin assured support
Earlier, Kejriwal and Mann met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin in Chennai. Stalin accused the Center of creating a crisis in non-BJP ruled states. He said the DMK would strongly oppose the central ordinance. Stalin said the Center was creating trouble for the Aam Aadmi Party and preventing the duly elected government from functioning independently. The Center brought the ordinance despite the Supreme Court ruling in favor of the AAP government. Stalin called Kejriwal his good friend.
Efforts to bring non-BJP parties together
After this you are reaching out to leaders of non-BJP parties to garner support against the flagship Kejriwal ordinance. Their aim is that when the bill was brought in the Parliament, the Center could not get it passed.

What is the matter?
In fact, the Center had issued an ordinance on May 19 to set up the National Capital Civil Services Authority for transfer and disciplinary action against IAS and DANICS cadre officers. The ordinance came after the Supreme Court handed over control of services other than police, public order and services related to land to the elected government in Delhi. Within six months of promulgation of the ordinance, the Center will have to introduce a bill in Parliament to replace it. Prior to the apex court’s May 11 verdict, transfers and postings of all officers of the Delhi government were under the executive control of the Lieutenant Governor.
