Indian viewers can watch Oscars 2024 live on Monday, March 11 at 4:00 am on OTT platform Disney + Hotstar. On Tuesday, the official Instagram account of Disney Plus Hotstar had shared a reel of most of the Oscar-nominated films this year with the caption, “Grab your snacks and enjoy the star-studded day! Oscars 2024, live streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on March 11. Let’s get the show started!”
The reel featured excerpts from several nominated clips, including Killers of the Flower Moon, Oppenheimer, Barbie, Maestro, Poor Things and American Fiction.

Let us tell you that this year, Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster biopic, ‘Oppenheimer’ has received many nominations at the Oscars. The drama starring Cillian Murphy has received 13 nominations including Best Picture and Best Director. Other nominated films include Barbie, Poor Things and Killers of the Flower Moon.
A documentary made on an incident in Jharkhand also got nomination.
The documentary ‘To Kill a Tiger’, made on a small village in Jharkhand state of India, has also got a place in the nomination list of Oscar 2024. Its story is based on an incident of rape that happened in Jharkhand and the subsequent fight for justice. This documentary was made by Nisha Pahuja of Delhi.
