Bhopal. Bhopali is not far behind Indore in terms of food. Here new experiments are done with food every day, and people come forward to taste it. Rahul Jain, living in Shahpura area of Bhopal, has brought such a unique taste in laddus. He has been running his shop under the name of Laddu Wala since the year 2019. The special thing is that he has prepared the laddu in a completely unique form by adding the flavor of paan to it.
Talking to Local 18, Rahul told that he makes different types of laddus using Ayurvedic method. For this he has also created a slogan, whose name is ‘Taste of Ayurveda with sweetness’. Told that, among the betel leaves available in the Asian subcontinent, there are only two such betel leaves which have Ayurvedic properties. In this, one is Magahi Paan and the other is Kolkata Paan. Let us tell you that golden ash is found in these.

Rahul tells that during the times of kings and emperors, he used to eat paan mixed with dry fruits instead of catechu and lime. We have also prepared paan laddus on the same basis by mixing dry fruits in paan. It tastes exactly like sweet water, but is even more beneficial from health point of view.
The taste of paan is hot
It goes without saying that betel leaves have a warming effect and are also beneficial during winters. It works to provide warmth in cold and coolness in summer. The process of making paan laddu takes about two to two and a half hours, in which 7 to 8 different ingredients are used.
₹600 kg paan laddus
Rahul told that the price of paan laddu is Rs 600 per kg, which is being liked by the people coming here. He says that 30 to 35 kg laddus are being sold every day before nightfall. Apart from this, they have many other types of laddus along with Amla laddus.
