Pakistan Govt Vs TTP: The Pakistani army has intensified its campaign against the Afghanistan-backed ‘Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’. Pakistan’s security forces took swift action against TTP, which has carried out several major attacks in recent days. On Thursday, the Pakistan Army had killed 11 TTP terrorists by running an operation on the western border, in which TTP commander Hafizullah Toure was also killed.
At present Pakistani Army is on red alert mode against TTP. The army is continuously running operations against TTP terrorists. According to the news quoting media reports, Pakistan has also carried out an airstrike in TTP stronghold Salala Gushta city. Pakistan’s Air Force carried out two airstrikes in the early hours of Thursday. However, Pakistan denied this attack. Meanwhile, TTP has threatened to kill Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Vilawal Bhutto. Bilawal responded by saying, “I am not afraid of death.”

Pakistan’s foreign ministry statement
However, Pakistan’s foreign ministry has categorically rejected reports that claim that Pakistan has carried out airstrikes against the terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan in eastern Afghanistan. He has termed such claims as ‘completely baseless and malicious’. The FO’s statement came hours after an Afghan newspaper Hasht-e-Subh Daily reported that Pakistan carried out airstrikes on TTP strongholds in Nangarhar province and areas around Gushta district, the Express Tribune reported.
