Only government employees will be able to use the Beep Pakistan app

Beep Pakistan has been designed by Babar Majid Bhatti, head of the National Information Technology Board. According to Babar Majid Bhatti, only government employees will be able to use the app for now. Babar has said that ‘this app has been made and is already working. Its testing is going on in our ministry’. He further said that it will be launched after the testing is completed.

According to Babar Majid, it will be launched among government departments in the next few months. Along with this, he also said that it has no competition with WhatsApp. Keeping privacy in mind, the use of WhatsApp is being discontinued and a new app is being brought for government employees.

Babar Majid said that the app has been made in such a way that it can be extended for general use. Apart from this, after seeing and considering the situation in the future, it can also be made available to the general public.
