Shehbaz Sharif Govt on Economic Crisis: Pakistan’s economy is slowly getting worse. There is a huge shortage of foreign exchange reserves in the country. Due to the increase in inflation, it is also becoming difficult for the common people to get bread for two times. The Shahbaz Sharif government of Pakistan is making all efforts to bring the economy back on track. The Shahbaz government is pleading for financial help from the countries of the world by taking a begging bowl. Meanwhile, the government has decided to cut the salaries of government employees in an effort to revive the economy.

According to media reports, the National Austerity Committee (NAC), constituted by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, is considering several other steps, including a 10 percent reduction in the salaries of government employees.

Employees will be deducted 10 percent salary

According to the report of The News, the National Austerity Committee formed by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif is brainstorming on all the measures to overcome the economic crisis. Apart from this, there has also been talk of reduction in the number of ministers in Pakistan.

There will be a reduction in the number of ministers and advisors

The committee has recommended reducing the number of Union ministers, state ministers and advisors in the country from 78 to 30, while the rest have been advised to work without pay. The committee has said in the resolution that ministers and advisors should work selflessly. The NAC also recommended eliminating the use of funds for projects of provincial nature, banning public sector enterprises to secure loans through government guarantees and many more.

Expectation of financial help from IMF!

Overall, the Government of Pakistan (Pakistan Govt) is finalizing the recommendations to cut expenses to deal with the pauper. The government of Pakistan wants financial help from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), but it does not seem ready to give an unconditional loan. At the same time, the government is not ready to implement the conditions of the IMF because it will increase inflation further and the government may have to face heavy opposition from the common people. In such a situation, there is a huge confusion in front of the government.
