Pakistan Latest News: Only one day is left for general election voting in Pakistan. Before that, once again a terrorist attack has been seen. On Tuesday, several election offices and polling centers set up in Makran division and the provincial capital were targeted. Here terrorists have attacked with grenades and hand grenades.
According to information received by Dawn, police said that late in the evening, some persons riding a motorcycle threw grenades at a government school in Killi Ahmedzai, located on the outskirts of Quetta. This school was selected as a polling station. The windows of the school have been badly damaged in the attack.
Apart from this attack, the terrorists also intended to carry out blasts in Bagh Bazaar, but the law enforcement agencies did not allow this plan of the terrorists to succeed. The bomb disposal squad, while conducting a search operation, discovered an explosive device from a government school and defused it.
Apart from this, a grenade was attacked near the National Database and Registration Authority office in Hoshab area of Kech district. The windows of the office have also been damaged in this attack.
A grenade attack also took place at the residence of Balochistan National Party (Mengal) candidate Mir Mohammad Yaqoob. Apart from them, terrorists also attacked the house of PML-N candidate Mir Mohammad Aslam Buledi in Buleda.
Two explosions have also been reported from Panjgur city. The house of National Party leader Abdul Qadir Sajdi and the residence of an independent candidate Dr. Noor Baloch have been targeted. Both the leaders remained safe in the attacks. PPP candidate Agha Gul also narrowly escaped the grenade attack on his house.
Information about attack on a post of security forces located in Tump area of Kech district has also been received. Here the terrorists have attacked with PRG-7 projectile. No loss of life or property has been reported in the attack.
