Pakistan Election Result 2024 Nawaz Sharif backup plan Imran Khan will not be able to become Prime Minister even after winning 97 seats

Pakistan Election Result 2024: Pakistan’s election result seems to be triangular. Will Imran Khan, who is leading with 90 seats, become Prime Minister? A question has arisen on this because Nawaz Sharif has made a backup plan. Nawaz has cleared the way for alliance with Bilawal Bhutto. In such a situation, the turmoil in the electoral arena of Pakistan has intensified.

Nawaz Sharif told his workers during a speech that his party Pakistan Muslim League-N will try to negotiate with rival Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s party to form an alliance in Pakistan, as the election result in Pakistan seems to be triangular. Let us tell you that 35-year-old Bhutto Zardari is a descendant of the Bhutto family, while Nawaz Sharif is a three-time former Prime Minister. Nawaz Sharif returned to Pakistan last year from exile in London and was acquitted of corruption charges, paving the way for him to contest elections.

What will happen after the alliance?
If both the family-based parties unite then this former Prime Minister Imran Khan may miss out on becoming the PM of Pakistan despite winning more seats. Let us tell you that in this election, Imran’s party “PTI” was banned by the Election Commission of Pakistan from contesting the elections, after which all the candidates of Imran contested the elections as independent candidates and are leading.

Nawaz Sharif said during a speech in his stronghold Lahore – “We have to sit together.” It is everyone’s duty to take the country out of this quagmire. Sharif said that after the elections, PML-N is the largest party in the Parliament. His close aide had earlier said that PML-N would win around 90 out of 265 seats in the National Assembly of Pakistan. But the Pakistan Election Commission scorecard showed that Khan-backed independents were leading with 97 seats, followed by PML-N with 73 and PPP with 53 seats.
According to a report, on the other hand, PPP MP and senior leader Sherry Rehman told reporters in Lahore, “We will talk to everyone.” The alliance of the two parties can be a relief for the country’s powerful army. Political analysts say that the army played an important role in removing Khan from power in April 2022. In this way, both the parties seem to be moving towards an alliance, making it seem that even after winning more seats, Imran Khan May miss out on becoming Prime Minister.

Inflation situation in Pakistan
At the same time, political analysts say that if Nawaz Sharif becomes the Prime Minister, he will have to face challenges on many fronts. The country’s economy has collapsed, with inflation running at 28%, the highest rate in Asia. This has made life even more difficult for the 40% population living in poverty.
