His close aide had earlier said that PML-N would win around 90 out of 265 seats in the National Assembly of Pakistan. According to a report, on the other hand, PPP MP and senior leader Sherry Rehman told reporters in Lahore, “We will talk to everyone.” The alliance of the two parties can be a relief for the country’s powerful army. Political analysts say that the army played an important role in removing Khan from power in April 2022.
