Pakistan Election Results 2024: On Wednesday (28 February 2024), two audio clips of main leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan went viral on social media. The clip going viral is giving strength to the claim of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party in which on February 8, he had alleged large-scale rigging in the elections. The PTI leader says that his mandate was stolen while releasing the results.

In an audio clip, Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori is reportedly heard saying, ‘They say our mandate is 100 percent fake.’ Tesori is heard telling someone that when he became governor, Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) had formed an alliance with Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party.

The Governor said that earlier MQM-P had got 7 seats of the National Assembly in Karachi in the 2018 elections, because then it had its own real vote bank. He said, ‘Today (voting on February 8) we did not get votes.’ Imran Khan And his party PTI has alleged rigging in the elections.

According to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), PTI-backed independent candidates won 92 National Assembly seats, taking over from former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif-led Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). is more. He said that Pakistan Peoples Party is pressurizing him that the Governor of Sindh should not be from MQM-P.

Tesori also said that if the MQM-P joins the Shehbaz Sharif-led coalition government at the Centre, the future of the party is going to be ruined. Newspaper Jang quoted Tesori as saying in its news, ‘What we are getting now is a ministerial post. They also want to snatch away the post of governor and the worst thing is that we have now lost the trust and confidence of our voters.

Tesori also warned in the audio clip that if MQM joins any government at the Center or in Sindh, it will face a lot of criticism from its voters who know that the party got fake votes in the recent elections. Are.

In another audio clip, MQM-P senior deputy convenor Mustafa Kamal was heard saying, ‘We met the PML-N delegation and they told us two things – PPP is saying that MQM-P’s mandate is 100 percent fake. And since PML-N and PPP have the required numbers in Parliament to form the government, MQM-P should be sidelined.

Confirming the audio clip, Mustafa Kamal said there was nothing new in his party’s rivals claiming that his mandate was fake. MQM-P has won 17 National Assembly seats in Karachi. PTI claimed that on the seats which MQM-P won, the candidates of this party (MQM-P) were not even at the third position.
