Islamabad Police Arrest PTI Leader: In Pakistan’s capital Islamabad, police and imran khan There was a clash between supporters of the party PTI on Sunday (8 September). After which the police has now taken major action. Islamabad Police arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf President Barrister Gauhar Ali Khan and National Assembly member Sher Afzal Marwat outside the Parliament House after the National Assembly session on Monday (9 September).

According to Pakistan’s news website ‘Dawn’, Islamabad Police spokesperson Jawad Taqi said that Sher Afzal Marwat, Shoaib Shaheen and Barrister Gauhar have been arrested. While Sher Afzal Marwat has been taken into custody forcibly.

There was a clash between police and supporters during Marwat’s arrest

A large number of police forces were deployed outside the Parliament House. As soon as the PTI leader came out of the building, the police immediately took charge and took Marwat into custody. At the same time, during Marwat’s arrest, there was a scuffle between his supporters and the police. However, the police surrounded and caught the MNA and seized his car before he fled from the scene.

Marwat was arrested by the police

Sources have revealed that Sher Afzal Marwat has been arrested for violating the law during last night’s rally. According to Dawn News, Marwat was arrested by the police for being involved in “several cases” and has been taken to an unknown place. However, the police have not issued any official statement on this development.

According to the new law passed by the Pakistan government, the government had earlier filed an FIR against PTI leaders for violating the NOC conditions. In which Islamabad Police has already arrested Sher Afzal Marwat and Shoaib Shaheen. Whereas, PTI leader and opposition leader Umar Ayub and PTI leader Zartaj Gul are also likely to be arrested.
