Where Dr. Quresh Maskati, an eye surgeon from Mumbai, performed a successful operation on a Pakistani patient in a hospital in Colombo and filled his desolate life with colors of happiness. Actually, 4 years ago, in an accident, the left eye of a person living in Lahore, Pakistan was damaged. After this he also underwent operation twice, but there was no benefit. Then the doctors there talked to Mumbai-based eye surgeon Dr. Quresh Maskati and explained the whole matter.

Let us tell you that the Pakistani patient had to undergo eye operation in Sri Lanka because he was facing difficulty in getting a visa for India. Then at the critical moment, Dr. Quresh Maskati talked to the Sri Lankan Medical Council and arranged for the operation. After getting permission from the authorities, on September 13, with the help of local eye surgeon Dr. Kusum Rathnayake, his operation was carried out at the Eye Specialist Hospital in Colombo and within just 48 hours his eyesight returned.

Pakistani patient reached home
After the operation, the Pakistani patient went back to Lahore on 24 September. He told that he considers himself very lucky that he can see his family again after 4 years. According to the TOI report, he also informed about the incident that happened to him and said that while cleaning the cupboard at home in 2020, an acid bottle fell on his head. Because of this his left eye got damaged. He also got treatment but there was no benefit. After this, when Dr. Quresh Maskati of Mumbai visited Pakistan once during a conference, he met the patient and told that his eyes would be cured by the operation of artificial cornea.

Earlier, a heart specialist from Chennai had tried to save the life of a Pakistani girl. A successful heart operation was performed and the heart of an elderly man was transplanted. Apart from this, the entire treatment expense was also borne by the Indian doctors.
