Pakistan Peshawar Terror Attack: Tehreek-e-Taliban terrorists have carried out a gruesome suicide bomb attack inside a mosque in Peshawar of the troubled Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. According to the information, 61 people were killed and more than 150 others were injured in the suicide bomb blast during afternoon prayers on Monday. Actually, this suicide attack has been carried out by the fidayeen of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). The TTP issued a statement saying that it carried out the act to avenge the killing of its commander Umar Khalid Khurasani. Please tell that the Pakistani army had killed the TTP commander in August last year.

While there was a stir after the incident, Mukarram Khurasani, brother of TTP slain commander Umar Khalid, and his close aide Sarbakaf have taken responsibility for the suicide attack by issuing a statement. He has said that his people have carried out this suicide bomb attack to target the police in Peshawar. Issuing the statement, Umar Khalid’s brother Mukarram Khurasani has said that this is a revenge for the murder of my brother in Afghanistan last August.

After the incident, Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the attack and said that the attackers behind this incident have ‘nothing to do with Islam’. He said that terrorists want to create fear by targeting those who perform the duty of protecting Pakistan.
