Pakistan Saveera Prakash On Indo-Pak Relations: General elections are going to be held in Pakistan next month on 8th February. The whole process regarding this has started. All the candidates contesting the elections have filed their nominations. Meanwhile, Dr. Saveera Prakash, the first Hindu candidate to contest the general elections from Buner constituency of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, has said that if she is elected, she will work as a bridge between India-Pakistan relations.
Sawira, 25, a doctor by profession, had last week filed her nomination from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for PK-25 general seat in Buner district. According to the news of Geo News, Sawira said that she has got the title of daughter of Buner, while the Muslim brothers have not only assured her to vote for her, but have also given their full support.
Dr. Saveera described herself as a patriotic Hindu
Dr. Sawira, Pakistan’s first Hindu woman candidate, said that if elected, she would help in solving the problems of Hindus living in Pakistan. She said that she is a patriotic Hindu and after getting the title of Buner’s daughter, her morale has increased further. Dr. Saveera said that if elected, she will play a positive role in the relations between Pakistan and India and Hindus of both the countries will be able to contact her without any hesitation. Savira decided to become a doctor following the footsteps of her father Dr. Omprakash.
Talk about Bilawal Bhutto’s visit to India
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto had visited India in May last year to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). Savir Prakash described this as a positive development towards promoting India-Pakistan relations. Apart from this, he said that people are standing with him, because of this he has never felt humiliated. He is not only getting the support of PPP but is also getting support from other parties, which is an indication that he has the support of Muslims. Votes will also be received from voters.
