Pakistan tested Shaheen-2 ballistic missile, India will have to be more cautious

Pakistan Shaheen-2 Ballistic Missile: On one hand, while India is trying to strengthen its border security, Pakistan is not going to stay behind. Pakistan tested Shaheen-II on Tuesday (20 August) which was successful. Shaheen-2 is a medium range ballistic missile that attacks from surface to surface. In fact, through this missile test, Pakistan is trying to show its military strength and strong strategy in South Asia.

Shaheen-2 is also known as Hatf-6 which is used by Pakistan’s Strategic Command. This missile weighing around 23,600 kg is 17.2 meters long while its diameter is around 1.4 meters. The maximum firing range of Shaheen-2 is said to be 2000 kilometers. This missile can also carry a 1230 kg warhead and can also carry nuclear weapons.

What is the specialty of this missile?

Shaheen-2 missile works on automatic transmission. The accuracy of the missile which runs on solid propellant is said to be less than 350 meters, which means that it has the power to destroy its target. This means that wherever this missile falls, devastation will be seen all around 350 meters away from there.

Capable of launching multiple attacks at once

Re-entry vehicles can also be installed in Shaheen-2 missile, after which it will become a weapon capable of attacking multiple targets, i.e. it will turn the enemy’s hideout into a graveyard in the blink of an eye. Along with nuclear weapons, terminal guidance systems can also be installed. Its range is said to be two thousand kilometers, i.e. if it is fired from Karachi, it can reach as far as Gorakhpur.

India became alert

India has also become cautious after this missile test because more than half of India will come under its range. However, India is also fully alert in view of the neighbouring threat. Let us tell you that in Asia, India faces threat from China on one hand and Pakistan on the other.
