Palak Sindhwani On TMKOC Maker: Palak Sindhwani, who became famous with her character ‘Sonu Bhide’ in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has been embroiled in many controversies for some time. It started with rumors that Palak was sent a legal notice for breach of contract, claims initially denied by both Palak and producer Asit Kumar Modi. However, the production house, Neela Film Productions, has now confirmed in an official statement that they had indeed sent a legal notice to the actress. Amidst this uproar, Palak has told that she has already left the show. Talking to Times of India, Palak said that the makers are making it difficult for her to exit.
Palak Singhwani accused the makers of TMKOC
Times of India quoted Palak Sidhwani as saying, “I had informed the production house on August 8 about my decision to leave the show. They decided to take some time and then told me that I would be given an official email on which I could send my resignation letter but that never happened. They delayed approving my resignation and after a few weeks I was shocked when I saw media articles about how I had violated the contract.
I had signed their contract 5 years ago and they refused to give me a copy of it. I received a copy on September 19, 2024. They agreed to let me continue with brand endorsements and after the pandemic, I also started brand endorsements on social media. He did not say anything then but when I announced to leave the show, he started this plan of action. I have also taken legal advice and will follow whatever is best for my career.
It is becoming difficult to leave the show
According to the report, Palak further said, “I wanted to leave the show for health reasons and professional growth. I have had several meetings but no solution has been found yet.” This is exploitation and I never expected this after working with them for five years, just because I want to leave Taarak Mehta, they are making it difficult for me to exit.
Many actors have accused TMKOC makers
