Pankaj Tripathi On Work: Pankaj Tripathi is in the headlines these days for his upcoming film Main Atal Hoon. His film is going to be released in theaters on January 19. Earlier, the actor had revealed how the character of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has impressed him. He told that even when he went to shoot for another film, he appeared in his character.
While talking to Indian Express, Pankaj Tripathi revealed that now he will do less films. He said- ‘I have decided to cut down on my work. I realized that I was eating too much. One should not act so much. There is a limit to how you think or perform. I can’t change my physical condition.
The actor was immersed in the character of Atal Bihari on the sets of Stree 2.
Pankaj Tripathi further said- ‘Instead of doing ten projects, it would be better if I do only three projects. In this way my creativity and mind will get some rest. If I get that, I’ll be able to do better work. Pankaj further told how he went to shoot his second film Stree 2 immediately after the shooting of ‘Main Atal Hoon’. During that time, he was seen immersed in the character of Atal Bihari, after which the director asked him to rest.
The director had ‘taken leave’
Pankaj said- ‘I completed the shooting of Atal and the next day I was on the sets of Stree 2. After the first day’s shots, Amar Kaushik came to me and whispered in my ear, ‘Atal ji is looking great!’ I told him what should I do now, I have just completed the film last night in Delhi. So he gave me a day off and asked me to take rest and see the woman. I said give me leave, I want it!’
Pankaj wants a break of 30 days
Pankaj further said- ‘I realized that it was not good, going from one set to another throughout the night, it was overlapping. I need a break of 30 days. Ten days to get rid of what I was doing, ten days to completely relax and be with the family and the last ten days to prepare for the next character. This is important for me now.
